Just realised I'd missed the match report from the Taylor Lane Front Pin Cup Quarter Final game at the Buck two weeks ago. I can only apologise for this oversight, which I will make every effort not to repeat. Hopefully this belated entry will make up for any inconvenience caused to loyal readers. We lost.

Dave & Mark are through another round of the pairs so it's on to round 5 on the 21st March, venues yet to be announced. That's the last 16. Or 32 strictly speaking. 16 pairs I should have said. Sorted.

And that's four on the trot, leaving Acorns just outside the top four. Probably fair to say that Woodpeckers had a bad night, Acorns winning by a good margin without a high total. Another away match next at the Buck.

Another good result and it's goodbye to The Plough, at least until the final game of the season when we're back to play Dead Men Walking. JC took the plaudits and Bob Jones the final ball. Two away games now, so Addison's (that's the HUFC social club's bar), isn't until the 24th.
